Account Information
  • Support clients from over 200 countries and territories with a single, integrated advisor master account.
  • Advisors who manage client accounts above state registration minimums must be registered under local regulatory law. (generally 16 or more accounts and $25 million in assets).
  • The account can be white branded with an advisor’s corporate identity. Advisor master account holders must be 21 years or older.
  • Individual and Joint account holders under an Advisor account structure can add authorized traders to become STL accounts.
  • Professional Registered Investment Advisors can create multiple-tier accounts by adding Advisor, Proprietary Trading Group Separate Trading Limit (STL), and Multiple Hedge Fund master accounts to their account structure.

  • You must be 21 or older to open a margin account and 18 or older to open a cash account.

The Hedge Fund accounts let Investment Managers set up different structures:  Multiple Fund and Allocation Fund accounts.

Accounts are accepted from citizens or residents of all countries except citizens or residents of countries or regions on the sanction list of the US Office of Foreign Asset Controls, similar lists, or other countries determined to be higher risk.

The Student Trading Lab is a free online resource for educators to blend finance with real-world trading experiences.
 
The Program registration process is easy and allows you to send invitations to students to open their own trading accounts.
 
You can manage both your and your students’ accounts with Client Portal.  Students can also reset the equity in their accounts.
 
Students receive complete trading tools with a paper trading account with a starting paper trading equity of $1,000,000. The account equity fluctuates like trades executed in the real market.
Student Trading Lab
  • Students can trade stocks, options, futures, bonds, and currencies on US markets.
  • Enhance classroom content or use sample assignments and resources to develop student trading skills.
  • The program is open to all educators. Note, however, that the sponsoring instructor needs to apply for the student accounts and supervise activity within the program.
